Simultaneous 4G LTE Speeds

Enjoy the same fast data speeds for other activities on your device, even while making HD Voice calls.

How It Works

To use Cricket HD Voice, both callers must have a Cricket HD Voice-capable smartphone and must be located in a Cricket HD Voice coverage area.*

*Cricket's LTE coverage is not equivalent to its overall network coverage. HD Voice calls made on a compatible device on Cricket's 4G LTE network may not experience an HD Voice connection during times of network congestion. Other carriers' networks may interoperate with Cricket's 4G LTE network to support an HD Voice call.

We're enhancing your network!

High Definition Voice (HD Voice) is just one of the ways we're working to build a better network for our customers. HD Voice uses VoLTE (voice over LTE) technology. At Cricket, you'll get voice calling over our nationwide 4G LTE network.* Enjoy crisp and clear conversations while using your phone to surf the web or stream music or video at up to 4G LTE speeds.

*4G LTE is not available everywhere.

Common Questions

What is HD Voice?

HD Voice technology delivers high-quality voice calls across Cricket's 4G LTE network. Customers with HD Voice will experience clearer voice quality and reduced background noise. You can talk in a normal voice and be heard clearly even in noisy environments. Conversations will sound more natural, almost as if the person at the other end of the line is right there next to you. And with HD Voice, you can talk while surfing at 4G LTE speeds. 4G LTE and HD Voice are not available everywhere.

How will I know if I'm on an HD Voice call?

With HD Voice you'll experience crystal-clear audio and reduced background noise.

How is HD Voice different than standard voice?

HD Voice uses wide-band audio technology and noise cancellation. That means voices sound more natural and you'll hear much less background noise compared to standard voice calls.
